How does Morgen connect to Zoom?
Morgen uses Zoom's official OAuth 2.0 integration. You sign in with Zoom once and grant Morgen permission to create meetings on your behalf and attach Zoom links to calendar events. No passwords are stored.
Does it work with free Zoom accounts?
Yes. Free and paid Zoom accounts both work. You'll still be subject to Zoom's own limits (e.g. the 40-minute cap on free group meetings) because Morgen creates real Zoom meetings against your account.
Can I use Morgen with Google Meet and Teams at the same time?
Yes. Connect Zoom, Google Meet, and Microsoft Teams all at once. When you schedule a new meeting in Morgen, you pick which provider to attach. Existing meetings with any provider get one-click join buttons automatically.
How does auto-join work?
Morgen launches the Zoom client with the meeting URL at exactly the start time. You can turn it on globally, per calendar, or per meeting — and cancel with one click if you're running late.
Does Morgen protect my focus time during Zoom meetings?
Yes. Morgen can auto-enable Do Not Disturb when you're in a Zoom call and disable it when the call ends. If you pair Morgen with a Slack status automation via Zapier, it can broadcast your availability too.
Can I add Zoom links to existing calendar events?
Yes. Open any existing calendar event in Morgen and click "Add Zoom" — a real Zoom meeting is created and the link is attached to the event for every attendee.
Does this work cross-platform?
Yes. Morgen runs on macOS, Windows, iOS, Android, and the web. The Zoom integration works everywhere — join buttons, link creation, and auto-join.
How is this different from Zoom's Google Calendar add-on?
Zoom's add-ons only work inside one provider (Google or Microsoft). Morgen unifies every calendar provider with Zoom, so you can schedule Zoom meetings onto iCloud, Fastmail, or any other calendar too — plus you get drag-and-drop time-blocking and the AI Planner on top.
Is there a free version?
Morgen offers a 14-day free trial of Morgen Pro — no credit card required. After the trial, Pro is required to keep the Zoom integration running.
Troubleshooting: the Zoom join button isn't launching the app.
Make sure the Zoom desktop client is installed and up to date. If that's fine, reconnect Zoom in Morgen's settings to refresh the OAuth token. Corporate SSO tenants sometimes require re-authorization every 30 days.
