No additional setup is required. As long as your Google account is connected to Morgen and you're creating an event in a Google Calendar, Google Meet can be added automatically when you invite at least one attendee.
So long as you have a Google Calendar account connected in Morgen, you can add a Google Meet link to any event in just one click, as well as to your Scheduling links and Open invites.
No. Google Meet links can only be auto-generated when you’re using a Google Calendar. If you're using Outlook or iCloud, we recommend using Zoom, Microsoft Teams, or manually pasting a Google Meet link into the location field.
Yes. You can join Google Meet meetings from the Morgen desktop or mobile apps. Just tap or click the link in the event to launch the meeting in your browser or Google Meet app.
Yes. When someone books time with you through a Morgen scheduling link, Open Invite, or booking page, a Google Meet link can be automatically added to the invite. When you create your Scheduling links and Open invites, simply select Google Meet as your conferencing tool. Note, Google Meet is only available for those events/scheduling links in a connected Google Calendar.
In addition to Zoom, Morgen also integrates with: - Google Meet- Microsoft Teams- Webex You can set your preferred default conferencing tool or toggle between options when scheduling meetings. Additionally, you can add static links from other providers if they allow creating a fixed room.
Yes. Morgen uses Zoom’s secure OAuth connection and never stores your Zoom password. Zoom meetings are created via API and stored securely in your connected calendar. You can revoke access at any time from your Zoom account settings.
Yes, Morgen integrates with Google Meet. When you create a meeting event in Morgen and select a Google Calendar as the host, a Google Meet link will be automatically added to the invite.
No. The integration works with free and paid Zoom accounts. The type of Zoom account you use will determine meeting duration limits and advanced features like breakout rooms, but Morgen will still generate valid Zoom links either way.
Yes. Morgen integrates with Zoom so you can automatically add Zoom links to calendar events created in Morgen. This makes it easy to schedule and join virtual meetings without switching apps.
To connect Zoom from the Morgen desktop app: 1. Open the Preferences menu (shortcut P)2. Under the Integrations tab > Video Conferencing > select Zoom3. Click Connect Zoom4. Sign in to your Zoom account and authorize Morgen Once connected, you can add Zoom links to events and scheduling links in one-click.
Yes. While you must first connect Zoom on the desktop app, once connected, you can view scheduled meetings with Zoom links from the Morgen mobile app and launch Zoom directly from the event.
Yes. When someone books a meeting with you via a Morgen scheduling link, a Zoom meeting can be automatically created and added to the invite, saving time and avoiding back-and-forth. Zoom links also work with Morgen’s Open Invites and Booking Pages.
When you create an event in Morgen and invite attendees, you can then add a Zoom meeting link in just one click. Attendees will receive the link in their invite, and you’ll see the Zoom details inside Morgen.
No. Subscription calendars are for reference only and do not affect your availability or show you as busy in Morgen’s scheduling tools like Open Invites or scheduling links. Only calendars you’ve marked as busy will block availability.
Absolutely. Morgen supports multiple CalDAV accounts, including different servers and custom domains, so you can manage work, personal, and shared calendars all in one place.
Yes. Subscription calendars added in Morgen desktop will also be visible in your Morgen mobile app once synced through Morgen Cloud. They’re perfect for checking upcoming events while on the go.
Yes. Morgen periodically refreshes calendar subscription feeds, so new events (like game times or holidays) will appear as they’re published. Update frequency depends on the source calendar.
Yes. Morgen supports private subscription calendars as long as they are publicly accessible via a secure iCal or ICS link (for example, a team’s internal event feed or shared editorial calendar). You’ll need the full URL. Login-protected feeds are not currently supported.
Yes. If your external calendar (Google, iCloud, Outlook, etc.) already includes subscription calendars, those will appear in Morgen once you connect that account. You can also add subscriptions directly to Morgen if you prefer not to manage them elsewhere.
Yes. Morgen allows you to add as many iCal subscriptions as you like. You can assign each one a different color and toggle their visibility from the calendar sidebar.
No. Subscription calendars in Morgen are read-only. They’re meant for reference only. You cannot change, delete, or move events in these calendars. If you need to personalize or edit events, consider importing a copy into a writable calendar.
To add a subscription calendar: 1. Open the Morgen desktop app2. Go to Settings > Calendars > Add Calendar Subscription3. Paste the .ics or .ical URL of the calendar feed4. Name it, choose a color, and click Add The calendar will appear as read-only in Morgen.
You can subscribe to any public calendar that provides an iCal or ICS URL, such as: - National holidays- Religious or cultural observances- Academic term dates- Sports schedules (NFL, F1, etc.)- Moon phases, sunrise and sunset, weather- TV show release calendars- Company-wide or team event calendars
Yes, Morgen supports read-only calendar subscriptions. You can subscribe to public calendars like holidays, sports events, academic schedules, moon phases, and view them alongside your personal and work calendars.
Yes. Morgen stores your CalDAV credentials securely on your device and uses encrypted connections to sync data. If you opt into Morgen Cloud or scheduling tools, your data is encrypted at rest and in transit. Morgen never sells or shares your information.
Yes. Morgen supports both read-write and read-only CalDAV calendars. This means you can subscribe to public iCal or CalDAV feeds, like holiday calendars, sports schedules, or team timelines, and view them in your schedule.
Yes. If your CalDAV account is connected through Morgen’s desktop app and synced to Morgen, you’ll be able to access your calendar from Morgen’s mobile apps on iOS and Android. This brings CalDAV scheduling to mobile, even if your calendar provider doesn’t offer a native app.
Yes. Morgen supports CalDAV on macOS, Windows, and Linux. This makes it one of the few cross-platform calendar apps that work well with self-hosted or privacy-focused calendar servers.
Yes. Morgen is a great solution for self-hosted setups. Your server must be reachable via the internet (cannot be local only) You can connect it by entering the server URL and login credentials. Note that we are unable to test and provide support for self-hosted setups so we recommend you test your integration during the free trial to ensure it syncs as expected.
Yes. Once connected, you can: - Create, edit, and delete events directly in Morgen- Drag and drop to reschedule- Invite participants, if supported by your CalDAV server- Schedule tasks and time blocks into your CalDAV calendar
To connect a CalDAV calendar in the Morgen desktop app:1. Open the Preferences menu (shortcut P) > Calendars3. Select Others (CalDAV), then enter your server URL, email or username, and app-specific password or credentials4. Click Connect, and Morgen will sync your calendars
Morgen fully supports integrations with iCloud and Fastmail. You can also connect other calendars that use the CalDAV protocol, including self-hosted calendars. However, outside of iCloud and Fastmail, these CalDAV integrations are not fully tested and are supported to our best efforts.
Yes. Morgen is a powerful alternative to Outlook for calendar and task management — especially if you want: - A clean, modern interface- Cross-platform support including Linux- Unified view of all calendars (Exchange, Google, iCloud, etc.)- Time blocking and smart task scheduling features Outlook doesn’t offer
Yes. Once your Google Calendar is connected through the desktop app, it will also sync to Morgen’s iOS and Android apps. You can view events, adjust plans, and receive notifications from your Google Calendar while on the go.
Yes. If your Fastmail account uses a custom domain or alias, Morgen will still connect to your calendar with no additional setup required.
Not at this time. Fastmail’s native task manager is not currently supported. However, you can use task integrations like Todoist, Notion, ClickUp, or Google Tasks, and schedule those tasks into your Fastmail calendar via Morgen.
Yes. No calendar data is stored on Morgen servers unless you opt in to cloud sync or scheduling features. Learn more in Morgen’s privacy policy.
Yes. Morgen’s scheduling links, booking pages, and open invites work with Fastmail calendars, so you don't need to use a third-party scheduling tool. You can generate scheduling links that reflect your real-time availability across all connected calendars, including Fastmail.
Yes. If your Fastmail calendar is connected via the Morgen desktop app and synced to Morgen Cloud, it will be accessible on your iOS and Android Morgen apps for scheduling and reference on the go.
