How to integrate ClickUp with Morgen

Brenna
Marketing @Morgen

Connect ClickUp with Morgen to unlock time blocking and planning for your ClickUp tasks in any calendar. Morgen's integration with ClickUp is designed to help you can realistically plan, deliberately schedule, and track time of your ClickUp tasks right in your calendar.

How to connect Morgen and ClickUp

From the Morgen desktop app:

  • Open the Task panel by clicking the check mark icon in the left rail
  • Click on the ... at the top of the task manager to open the task menu
  • Select Connect a task integration

From the task panel menu select Connect a task integration.

This will open Morgen's integration widget. Click the ‘Add account’ button, then select ClickUp.

Select ClickUp from the list of integrations to get started.

You will be prompted to sign in to ClickUp and grant Morgen permission to access to the workspaces you select. Once you select the Workspace you want to connect, you will choose which tasks, spaces, and lists should import to Morgen.

We recommend only importing the spaces and lists that include tasks that you will want to schedule in your calendar.

You will then be redirected to your Morgen app.

Your ClickUp tasks in Morgen

You should now see a ClickUp tab in your task manager, populated with tasks from the selected ClickUp spaces.

We recommend you take a moment to tune the way your ClickUp tasks are displayed. You can do so by opening the task manager menu and selecting the way your tasks are grouped and ordered, as well as which tags are visible.

Customize how you want to see your ClickUp tasks within Morgen.

You can click on any of these tasks to see their details, including notes, priorities, and due dates.

Note: Your ClickUp task details are locked. You cannot modify the task in Morgen, such as changing the due date or adding more notes. You can do so directly in ClickUp by simply clicking Open in ClickUp in the task widget or on the little ClickUp logo in a scheduled task.

ClickUp tasks can only be updated within Clickup.

Now you're ready to start time blocking and planning your ClickUp tasks in Morgen.

FAQ

Do dates vs. due dates—what's the difference?
A do date is when you plan to work on a task, while a due date is when the task must be completed. By scheduling do dates in your calendar, Morgen helps you carve out time to work on tasks before they become last-minute emergencies, so you stay ahead of deadlines.
How does Morgen help me prioritize urgent vs. important tasks?
In Morgen, you can tag or categorize tasks based on urgency and importance, then use time blocking or its Frames feature to ensure high-impact work gets scheduled when you’re most focused.
How is Morgen different from Todoist?
Morgen combines task management with intelligent calendar scheduling. With Morgen, you don’t just organize tasks, you prioritize the right ones and schedule them. Morgen helps you plan your day by dragging tasks onto your calendar or automatically scheduling them based on your availability, energy levels, and priorities with the AI Planner. It's built for people who want a single tool for managing both time and tasks, not just a to-do list.
Can I sync tasks with my to-do app?
Yes. Morgen lets you sync tasks from your favorite to-do apps, including Todoist, ClickUp, Notion, Obsidian, and more. This means you can view and manage all your tasks and calendar events in one place. Whether you're planning your day or time blocking your week, Morgen ensures your tasks stay connected and up-to-date, no need to switch between multiple apps.
