What’s Changing in Morgen v4?

Morgen v4 is a major upgrade that includes:

  • The new web app: Access Morgen from any modern browser
  • Simpler setup: Connect your tools once
  • Faster performance: Especially for syncing and calendar interactions
  • More modern sync engine: Better support for standard providers

However, some legacy setups are no longer supported, particularly Exchange On-Premises and certain CalDAVs.

How to Stay on Morgen v3

If you need to remain on v3:

  1. Download the latest v3 version:

  3. Disable automatic updates to v4:
  4. In the app, go to:
  5. Preferences > General > Auto-update app
  6. β†’ Uncheck: Do not auto-update to v4

How to Roll Back from v4 to v3

If you've already upgraded, but need to return to v3? Here’s how:

  1. Download and install v3 from:
  2. https://platform.morgen.so/download/v3
  3. This will replace your current v4 install.
  4. Disable auto-updates within 10 minutes:
  5. Go to Preferences > General β†’ Turn off auto-update to v4

  • v4 is best for most users: better performance, modern sync, and access to Morgen in their browser
  • Switching to v3 is necessary for users with:
    • Exchange On-Premises
