How to reschedule tasks in Morgen

Overview

This guide shows how to reschedule tasks in Morgen when plans change. You’ll learn three ways to move, continue, or split scheduled work, and how to use the AI Planner to quickly decide what happens next to aligned with your priorities.

Why reschedule tasks?

Rescheduling tasks helps you:

• Continue work by scheduling the next session automatically
• Make sure important tasks are re-planned at the right time using AI-assisted prioritization

Ways to reschedule scheduled tasks

Reschedule this session

• Right-click on your scheduled task(s)
• Navigate to Replan session
• Choose Reschedule this session

OR

‍

• Click on the scheduled task(s) and press Shift + R
• An AI Planner pop-up will appear with 3 options:
  • Reschedule ASAP will find the next free slot and schedule the task
  • Reprioritize with AI Planner will use the Morgen Priority Factor and schedule the task
  • Unschedule will unschedule the selected task(s)

Complete and schedule one more time

• Right-click on your scheduled task(s)
• Navigate to Complete and schedule one more time

OR

‍

• Click on the scheduled task(s) and press Shift + F
• Selected task(s) will be marked complete, and the next session will be scheduled with the AI Planner and the same duration as the previous session
• When the AI Planner pop-up appears, you will have 3 options:
  • Reschedule ASAP will find the next free slot and schedule the task
  • Reprioritize with AI Planner will use the Morgen Priority Factor and schedule the task
  • Unschedule will unschedule the selected task(s)

Split and reschedule remaining time

• Right-click on your scheduled task(s)
• Navigate to Split and reschedule remaining time

OR

‍

• Click on the scheduled task(s) and press Shift + S
• Selected task(s) will be marked complete, and the remaining time will be allocated for the next session
• Next session will be scheduled with the AI Planner and the same duration as the previous session
• When the AI Planner pop-up appears, you will have 3 options:
  • Reschedule ASAP will find the next free slot and schedule the task
  • Reprioritize with AI Planner will use the Morgen Priority Factor and schedule the task
  • Unschedule will unschedule the selected task(s)
